Adult Art Term 2 - Birds & Botanicals

9wk Term Classes for: Adults  

When: Friday evenings or Wednesday daytime

Wednesdays 10.30am - 12.30pm or Fridays 7pm - 9pm

Starts Wednesday 27 April  or Friday 29 April (for 9 weeks)

Course Outline: In this class students will be learning how to paint birds and botanicals in a contemporary way to achieve a bold modern look using Acrylics primarily, however, my past students may choose to use oils. Each art student will choose how contemporary or abstract or design like they would like to make their individual artwork piece. In the first few weeks students will learn techniques and styling on small test pieces before moving to a larger canvas to complete an original artwork of their choosing. Strong realisim is not our aim so this class is perfectly suited to beginers and even artists that want to focus on colour and design over realism, but I am happy to support each artist style. This class is also well suited to my regulars that wish to contiunue building skill and be part of an inspiring group.

Materials: Students provide own materials. Easels and other larg equipment pieces are provided.  

Cost is based on: $15 x 9 = $135

Fees can be adjusted for late start in term.

Art Teacher: Kerry-Anne is a qualified Teacher with formal qualifications in Fine Arts and Graphic Design. She has worked as a designer for fashion, interior, graphic design. Also as a professional illustrator, animator for Walt Disney and also worked for David Hockney's Fine Art Gallery. She sells her latest artworks via Bluethumb or fun designs on Red Bubble.

Some students can use NDIS: funding as this is a mainstream inclusive studio. Please consult with Kerry-Anne for this option.
