Course Outline: 

This is a certified course, where you will recieve a certificate in Reiki Level 2 on completion. Amazing value as this is a highly recognised course founded on an authentic, grounded approach, and taught in a very engaging and practical way. Kerry-Anne is a Traditional Reiki Master with a very sought after traditional lineage. She is also an Energy Therapies Association Member and AON approved. Learn more ofthe “inner teachings” according to Mikao Usui the founder of Authentic Reiki. If you're working on developing your personal practice and expanding your understanding of the system of Reiki, and/or becoming a professional Reiki Practitioner then Okuden is the next step.

Prerequisites for this level: Completed Reiki 1 Certification with Ebb & Flow Studio (or Linage Partner).

At this level you learn to connect with the energy of both Earth and Heaven, the first steps to being integrated with universal energy. The focus of Usui’s teachings here is to work with these energies for inner spiritual development rather than them being external tools. We will achieve this by working with three of the symbols and mantras via visualization and chanting techniques. As you begin to work closely with these techniques over the two days you will notice your sensitivity and awareness grow. As you develop and work with strengthening your energetic system using these tools your ability work with others will also grow. Once again the emphasis is about working on yourself energetically to create a strong base to take forward into the world. This is of benefit whether you want to be a practitioner or just develop your own personal awareness of the energy of Reiki and your inner self.

During this course we also work with Distance healing, what is it? How to work with it.

Okuden means 'inner teachings' to deepen your practice and, will include in-person 2 day training to provide you with:

• You will learn the three symbols and their mantras, their meanings and usage.
• Learn to help others through the Japanese concept of Oneness. (Distant Healing)
• You will receive 3 attunements
• Japanese meditations and techniques to deepen your awareness and understanding of Reiki
• Learn skills to be a Reiki Practitioner
• Post course case studies and assesment is required before receiving your certificate

This course will leave you feeling confident with working on other people as you develop a more trusting relationship with your intuition and inner self. The more you work with the system of Reiki to develop your personal practice the greater your benefits will be. Eg: Inner peace, strengthened immune system, the ability to help others via treatments, clarity with life decisions. The list goes on.

What is included:  In-person 2 day training, delicious Japanese lunch (GF) and morning tea, comprehensive manual, certificate from Ebb & Flow Studio.

In-person teaching is recognised for certification (online is not). It is important to understand with an energetic practice, (whether it be Reiki, Qi Gong, Tai Chi) it is something to be experienced rather than read. As such, the teaching approach is practical, engaging and dynamic. You will also enjoy some Qi Gong movement and Soundbath sessions as this is a fully emersive experience into energy.

Learn the history of Mikao Usui and his teachings. Knowledge of the Japanese origins of Reiki will provide you with the deeper understanding you need for your own practice and illumination of an innate system that is both within and without.

Traditional Japanese Reiki is one of many forms of TCM that is effective in pain management and treating emotional disorders such as depression and PTSD. People use Reiki to relax and strengthen their wellbeing; reduce pain, anxiety, and fatigue; help manage symptoms; reduce side effects of medications; and support recovery after injuries or surgery. This is something we offer outside of art making because we believe art making and a harmonious mindset brings deep connection. 

Shoden ‘first teachings’ will include in-person 2 day training to provide you with:

Reiki is a powerful practice for acknowledging the source of our emotional suffering and learning how to transform this for healing of mind, body, spirit and community. Usui developed the well-known Precepts as the basis for the “secret art for inviting happiness" and identified Reiki as "spiritual medicine.” This certificate course starts a journey that helps you to awaken an awareness of your true self. Shoden level 1 gives you the tools to develop a daily practice based on the system of Reiki. Reiki practice is the beginning of initiating positive changes and greater balance in your life.
