Course Outline: Learn how to paint loose watercolours. In this course we will focus on subjects such as windows and flowers. Watercolour Calm will ease you into painting for therapeutic purposes to take away the pressure of the world. When you become fully absorbed in watercolour painting your mind becomes much quieter. Discovering the beautiful blooms of watercolours, we will learn how to create cascades of colour, movement and to create pleasing effects. Capturing soothing colours and dancing sprays, delight in the looseness of watercolours to make pictures that calm the mind and heart. 

Beginners: Yes, this course is for beginners and is perfect for mindfulness. 

Materials: Students provide own materials. Easels and other large equipment pieces are provided as required.

Cost is based on: $20 x 10 = $200

Teacher for this class is Tracey (Please note Kerry-Anne and Tracey do fill in for each other from time to time)

Tracey social worker, counsellor, craftmaker and artist.

Teachers: 

Kerry-Anne owner of Ebb & Flow Studio, her Teaching Qualifications are: Bachelor of Teaching & Community Services, Dip. Fine Arts & Graphic Design. Additional - Dip. Counselling, Dip. Tai Chi, Dip. Qigong, Dip. Art Therapy Teaching, Master Reiki/Meditation/Mindfulness.  

Tracey Woods teacher at Ebb & Flow Studio. Fine Arts Formal Training in Watercolours, Mixed Media, Pottery, Printmaking, Paper-making. Additional - Social Worker & Counselling Degree, Former Tertiary Lecturer, Diploma of Sound Therapy & Sound Therapy Teaching. 

Bridie Knibbs Tertiary Cadet (co-teacher for Primary classes) at Ebb & Flow Studio. Graduated HSC Band 6 Visual Arts, Photography, Multi Media. Additional - Studying Visual Communications, Majoring in Photography at Torrens University.

Some students can use NDIS: funding as this is a mainstream inclusive studio. Please consult with Kerry-Anne for this option.
