About The Event
Course Outline:
This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to dip their toes into self-awareness and the practice of being present with this instrument. Consult with the master makers of this instrument if you decide you want to purchase an instrument going forward. 8 hand-pans are provided in the workshop so no need to bring one. The workshop will take 8 people without instruments but can accomodate 2 more with own instruments, hand-pans in D minor.
About the teacher:
Baran Yildiz is a Sydney based multi-instrumentalist and renowned as one of Australia's most talented handpan players. Baran's music combines melodies and rhythms of the Anatolia, Middle East and Africa with a modern touch on the hand pan, piano and various percussion instruments.
