Short Course Family Watercolour Calm

Short Course:  Family class  (8 years - Adult)

When: One day course 10am - 3pm (5 hrs)

Starts: Wednesday 5th October 

Cost: $100 kids + $80 for adult companion, discounted (so $180 total or $100 less if using Creative Kids)

Course Outline: A combined family class has been requested by many so here it is!  This watercolour calm class is a painting class with mini soundbath. Let the sounds wash over you, let your busyness wash away to a state of calm. 

Then find your flow with watercolour painting: drips, splashes, textures, blooms, colours, flow... learn some techniques that will help you to work with this flowing medium and work your way up to a Yin Yang Koi fish painting. The class will be a flowing combination of mini soundbath moments and extended painting periods with a break for lunch. Please pack a picnic and enjoy the park next door 'Tom Charmers Park' or just 1 minute further and you can see the (secret hush, hush) Aboriginal rock carvings at the escarpment, a great place to picnic also.

Materials: All materials are provided.  

Student Work: Go to the studio tab in the menu to see past works and the studio.

Art Teacher: Designed by Kerry-Anne and Tracey. Kery-Anne is a qualified Teacher with formal qualifications in Fine Arts, Graphic Design Counselling and Art Therapy teaching. Tracey is a talented artist and crafter, with Social Science Degree and Counselling experience and is also qualified in other modalities such as Reiki and sound healing. Tracey will incorporate some healing sounds in the class.
