Week 4 - Time to practice: 1. Here is the Japanese Reiki - Hatsurei-Ho, - Usui Reiki Ryoho way of Meditation & Breathing practice. Do this with Lumie 5 times this week. Audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RINuCyhe1ZU Reflect on Hatsurei-Ho,, what did it feel like? Give a response in the comments.
Well done Baina and Donna, I love Hatsurei-Ho. In Qigong it is called drawing down the heavens. I find it gives a very strong spiritual connection. The action and the visualisation of drawing Reiki down is powerful. I know Lumie adds the Precepts in, to show you that you can but once you have learnt the technique you can take away the scaffolding (Lumie's guided version) and do it all by yourself. I am glade to hear you are already feeling like you can do that Baina. For Donna this sounds like an awesome one for preparation before a reiki session or any healing session. Reiki is a powerful tool for a sound healer!
With Hatsurei-Ho I feel more centred, & in harmony with the energy. I feel more open & the focused breathing clears away any stress.
I found Hatsurei-Ho more suitable when reciting or chanting it myself, both in English and in Japanese. My meditation lasts longer than the video, allowing me to go deeper. I connected with the beautiful ki energy that is so calming. Beautiful breathing in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
