Blue Lagoon – Semi-Abstract by Kerry-Anne Knibbs – Hello, and thank you for taking a closer look!

“I have a deep appreciation for symbols and abstract forms, seeing them as catalysts that embody energy in its purest form. In Feng Shui we find that artworks are one of the eight key elements used to attract positive energy and set intentions.”

It’s a sad reality that these ancient, revered birds are often reduced to the nickname ‘bin chickens.’ In truth, they are simply birds trying to survive in the concrete jungle we’ve built. They embody resilience, adaptation, and the spirit of survival in a world that often overlooks their beauty and significance. These birds deserve more than the label we’ve given them — they are living symbols of nature’s persistence, even in the face of overwhelming odds.

The flock of ibises, nestled in the embrace of the lush landscape, is a poignant nod to cooperation and socialisation. These birds, raise their young in a supportive, communal environment, reflecting the deep bonds that form through collaboration and shared purpose. Each ibis, as it interacts with its companions, suggests a balance between individual growth and collective harmony. Incorporating the Feng Shui wood element, the artwork radiates a sense of vitality and expansion.
