Adult Term 3 Class, BOW Accelerator

Course Outline: Learn how to create a BOW - body of work and how to promote your brand in this master class at Ebb & Flow Studio, Boutique Classes. This course is for artists that are beyond beginners. New comers may come in at this level if they make a submission first and are acceptepted into the course. Kerry-Anne chooses to graduate current students from her beginner classes when she feels they are beyond beginners and ready to launch. Launching includes creating a body of work and your commitment to work to grow. Students will learn how to create a body of work, establish their style, build their brand, find exhibitions, market and sell.  

How exciting, so get ready to create your series! This course is designed to be an ongoing course as there is much to learn over time. 

This course is offered in a flexible way:

1. Face-to-face on Wednesdays 1pm includes curicullum and practice

2. Online Sundays includes curicullum and practice

3. Face-to-Face 10:30am Sundays includes curicullum and practice

So students can move between. Perfect for students that are working or semi-retired or part-time. 

Can you do the whole course online, absolutely!

Materials: Students must bring the following equipment to be eligible to participate.

All materials are discussed in week one to avoid buying mistakes.

Paints: Matisse Flow acrylics

Brushes: good variety of acrylic brushes

Tote: tool box tote or basket (no soft bags for equipment allowed)

Print: of your reference image with technical suitability to be discussed with teacher

Clean up: paper-towel and nappy wipes

Test piece: Canvas Board A5/A4 or A4 canvas pad (as needed)

Project: your choice of canvas size to begin your BOW, remember you will be guided.
